Lead the core infrastructure platform powering Trade Republic's ultra-low latency brokerage execution engine. Scale multi-region Kubernetes clusters handling peak market opening traffic.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance applications using Kubernetes, Terraform, Go.
- Participate in technical architecture reviews, engineering discussions, and sprint planning.
- Maintain high code quality standards through automated testing, peer code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate across cross-functional teams to translate customer feedback into production-grade features.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in platform engineering, DevOps, and cloud reliability
- Expertise with AWS multi-account architectures, Terraform, and GitOps workflows
- Demonstrated mastery of Kubernetes at scale (EKS), service meshes, and Kafka streaming
- Experience coaching and scaling platform engineering squads
